Ventrillo Guide

Ventrilo is a VoIP (Voice-over-Internet-Protocol) service which is free to use. There are two programs for Ventrilo; the server and client version. For the purposes of scrims/wars, this guide will only address what is needed from the client version.
Requirements:
Microphone (optional)
Internet Connection
Speakers/Headphones/etc.

1. Visit http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php.
2. Download the appropriate client version for your operating system.
3. Execute the file and follow the instructions to install.
4. Open up ventrilo to the main window.

(i) Your Ventrilo window should look something like this.
(ii)
(iii) Enter your name you wish to use. Click Okay until you're back to the main window.
(iv) Your Ventrilo window should look something like this.
6. Then Click the arrow next to Server and in the pop up box click new.
7. Name the server Aussie Assault and click ok.
8. Next in the Hostname or IP section type in vent.aussieassault.net and in the port number section type in 5814.
9. Scroll down the channels until you find the ks channel. Double click the channel to connect.

HOW TO GET IT:
1) go to this site: http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php
2) download the right one for ur comp
3) install
NOW THAT U HAVE IT...TO GET ONTO IT U...
4) go to this site: http://www.gamearena.com.au/getconnected/servers/voicecomms/index.php
5) scroll down until u see 2 servers (#1 and #2)
5) click on the connect button on what server the rest of us r on (i think we should always use 2)
6) when u click connnect, go to ventril and change ur name to ur trem name so we no who r u...
